Hi Team,
Formerly (3.2x) I had an USB-UTP-nic working with PcP. Now with a fresh 4.0 setup I am unable to find the correct combination of extensions to get this same hardware working again. I have downed net-usb.4.14.81.pcpCore.tcz using the pcpRepo, and made sure no other net-usb.x versions are available The pi is a basic Zero 1.2 with a USB-Hub-Nic that is found as: Code: -------------------- [ 1.602658] usb 1-1: new high-speed USB device number 2 using dwc_otg [ 1.882752] usb 1-1: New USB device found, idVendor=1a40, idProduct=0101 [ 1.882769] usb 1-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=1, SerialNumber=0 [ 1.882777] usb 1-1: Product: USB 2.0 Hub [ 1.883713] hub 1-1:1.0: USB hub found [ 1.883874] hub 1-1:1.0: 4 ports detected [ 2.202206] usb 1-1.2: new full-speed USB device number 3 using dwc_otg [ 2.334848] usb 1-1.2: New USB device found, idVendor=0fe6, idProduct=9700 [ 2.334866] usb 1-1.2: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=2, SerialNumber=0 [ 2.334874] usb 1-1.2: Product: USB 2.0 10/100M Ethernet Adaptor [ 2.432184] usb 1-1.4: new high-speed USB device number 4 using dwc_otg [ 2.563820] usb 1-1.4: New USB device found, idVendor=0bda, idProduct=8176 [ 2.563838] usb 1-1.4: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 [ 2.563845] usb 1-1.4: Product: 802.11n WLAN Adapter [ 2.563854] usb 1-1.4: Manufacturer: Realtek [ 2.563861] usb 1-1.4: SerialNumber: 00e04c000001 -------------------- The Realtek is working OKE, The Product: USB 2.0 10/100M Ethernet Adaptor is not found in "ifconfig" What step did I forget, or is there a written recipe I can double check ? Or has something changed in 4.0 that prevents me to use wired with a zero.
