HI, No it is nothing to do with power supplies. I found a tiny note on the PIcoreplayer website that there needs to be a prerequisite extension installed -- raid-dm-4.14.56-pcpCore_V7.tcz So I installed the raid extension, but looking at installed extension info, there is an error;- filesystems-4.14.56-pcpCore_v7.tcz 3858432, 3.68 MB raid-dm-KERNEL.tcz Error, not found ---- But I have just installed this extension! So at this point I gave up with btrfs , wiiped my ssd, reformatted it ext4, and reloaded my music. Installing the ssd now, it can be seen as an external usb drive ok. HOWEVER I cannot find any way of setting the fstab parameters to stop journalling or time stamps to save wear on the ssd, (which is why I wanted to use btrfs at first !)
