Yes, that includes the 3B+. USB will work, but it won't be stable enough for USB audio. All RPI boards before the 4B have a pretty significantly flawed USB implementation. The work around has always been the FIQ driver. Yes, updates will follow. I have it mostly tested out, but right now, I needed to get some extra hands on the new release. I didn't want folks to upgrade in place and have unforeseen problems. I do a lot of testing, but there is only so much Greg and I can test.
