I myself never had any crash problems when I was using PCI extreme, but
let's face it, this hack definantly falls under the YMMV heading.

However, this is also an issue if you have an actual QE compatible AGP
card, which they did. Even over an AGP bus, QE will run much better on
32MB than on 16MB. After all, Apple limits QE to 16MB VRAM or higher. It
would be kind of like running 10.2 on a 233MHz G3. Yea, it can be done, it
very usable, but would you really be happy on it?
