I still have my S900, however, and will probably hold on to it as long as it is able to run OS X.

Dan: You will always be able to run Jaguar on your S900.
And I know the feeling.
My wife has been flirting with the idea of getting me one of the dual 1.25 GHz G4 towers. The problem is that I physically don't have room for it AND the computer I'm now using, which is an old PCI Mac Clone that runs Jaguar perfectly.
As much as I'd like a new G4 I can't imagine it being any better than what I already have...and I'm NOT going to dump it just because I'm in a hurry to run Panther. I can wait...
I'm using an antique Daystar Genesis MP 800+ with a Sonnet G4 800 MHz upgrade and 1.5 gigs of RAM. I have OS 9.1, 9.2. and two versions of Jaguar on different IDE drives. The Tsunami board has a dozen DIMM slots and six PCI slots and I have a Sonnet ATA card, ATI Radeon 7000, and Orange Micro for USB and FireWire. Everything works.
If it got hit by lightning tomorrow I'd be delighted and the G4 tower would look GREAT on my desk but there's no way I can replace the Genesis while it still performs like a champ.
I really LIKE this computer too much.
