Hi For both the 9600 (G4/450) and 9500 (G3/400) I've got Sonnet processors. The best way of sorting the Cache I've come across is CPU Director from Powerlogix. I've got v1.3f1 installed and it really does show the boost from getting the caches running. It also allows you to control cache speed and whether speculative accessing is enabled.
XPF sorts the installation and booting of OSX and Powerlogix the caches - Sonnet s/w is only used with with OS9 Both machines are happily running 10.3.3 server One tip I've found with CPU dir is to unstuff it in your apps folder. When I moved it from another disk, permissions problems meant it would not install the needed kexts properly bye for now Keith Cooper Northlight Images http://northlight-images.co.uk -- Unsupported OS X is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Unsupported OS X list info <http://lowendmac.com/lists/unsupported.html> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive <http://www.mail-archive.com/unsupportedosx%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
