Hi

For both the 9600 (G4/450) and 9500 (G3/400) I've got Sonnet processors. The
best way of sorting the Cache I've come across is CPU Director from
Powerlogix. I've got v1.3f1 installed and it really does show the boost from
getting the caches running. It also allows you to control cache speed and
whether speculative accessing is enabled.

XPF sorts the installation and booting of OSX and Powerlogix the caches -
Sonnet s/w is only used with with OS9

Both machines are happily running 10.3.3 server

One tip I've found with CPU dir is to unstuff it in your apps folder. When I
moved it from another disk, permissions problems meant it would not install
the needed kexts properly
