But what's worse, I now can't startup in Panther anymore. I get this text instead:
DEFAULT CATCH!, code=fff00300 at &SRR0: 0560a428 ...
Open Firmware 2.4 To continue booting the MacOS type: BYE <return> To continue booting from the default boot device type: BOOT <return> For Open Firmware serial I/O type: TTYA IO<return> ok 0 >
If I type bye, nothing happens. If I type Boot, I think I get some text back, but it does not boot.
At first I thought it was because the other drive (now with Jaguar) was using the onboard IDE, whereas my Panther drive uses a SIIG card. So I disconnected the Jaguar drive. Same results. I downloaded the latest XPF beta, but still, same results. That partition also has OS 9 and I can boot in OS 9 on that partition, but not Panther. I sure would like to fix it. Any ideas?
I've reset the PRAM. Apparently, I wasn't supposed to install Jaguar on the same system. Is this what did it?
