I do not have a degree and have really been struggling to find a job due to not having one. When you are competing against someone with basically the same credentials and they have a BS or even a Masters degree they win out every time. It sucks, personally I dont think a degree is more valuable than work (real world) experience however, employers feel that way.
If I were you I would get one from UVU, BYU, U of U, whatever but I would get one.
