I am not a professional programmer, though I am in my 38th year of xTalk. I cannot fathom the idea that one can build an app, using a program that one has a subscription to, then get publish that app,, and then be REQURED to maintain the subscription in order for that app to run.
Forever. What happens if, say, the author dies and all users suddenly go dark? Must his children take up the subscription? And, look, I know dying is one's own fault. This cannot be true. Scotland, are you aware of the angst that is rampaging through your world? Would a little clarity help, even if it is only to confirm the nonsense I described above?
