With apologies to Kevin for partially continuing this thread -- and no mention of 
pricing -- I have to disagree strongly with the above. Even when compared strictly on 
a Mac, Rev offers numerous advantages over SuperCard. SuperCard, in its favor, does 
offer a gentler learning curve and a few Mac-specific features that Rev doesn't.

Among the Rev advantages:

-- Unlimited script lengths
-- Unlimited field contents
-- Regular expressions
-- Property sets (part of the reason for the steeper learning curve for Rev is 
features like this that are very powerful)
-- Filter
-- Associative arrays
-- Geometry Manager
-- Profile Manager
-- Animation Manager
-- The Send...In command, which single-handedly revolutionizes (sorry for the pun) 
your scripting
-- Speed, speed, speed

There are many others as well. Speaking as someone who has used HyperCard and 
SuperCard, (and already made my way up the learning curve) there's no way I'd go back.
