Hi,
Just thought I would add a little bit here as it seems some people may
not realize why there are seperate settings for the view and camera in
the render settings etc, basically this allows you to enter the size and
aspect of the virtual camera in the camera/view window settings and then
in the render settings you are entering values for the 'recorder'
seperating like this allows you to render to anamorphic formats , you
take the 16:9 image of the camera and squeeze it horizontally to fit
into a 4:3 frame in the rendered image and then it will be de-compressed
when viewed on a 16:9 monitor (as is the case for pal plus 16:9 and some
other formats)
I hope this makes sense I am just typing quickly while on my way out

I only pointed out a "Workaround" using the creating a 'File Render
Configuration', that someone might want to use, until someone else
comes up with a better way, or RS even implements what is needed..!

For the actual Camera, there already is a preset for Pal/NTSC 9:16 !
Odd though that not the same ones are in the 'Render to file'....
Yes, this is a point where Realsoft has some kind of
inconsistency. This combo box should be the same on all places I
think.

That's something even Cinema4D on the Amiga was capable of. I am a
big fan of fractions and such alikes: "How big is this object?
It's three times as high as that object."

would be nice to have.

Its in the left tab of the Last tab..
Then you can in the top of the 'File Rendering' Window, select the
wanted 'File Rendering Setting' configuration...!
Yes, this works. But in my mind the question arises: "Why then is
there a combo box to choose predefined ratios?"
