If you'd like it, you'll have to earn it, and that is done by contributing.

Perhaps the PMC has overlooked your contributions that merit your invitation. 
If so, please send a message to priv...@ofbiz.apache.org and explain your 
position.

And yes, there are many ways to contribute that don't involve code.

On the other hand, what sort of "power" do you think you'll have once you are a 
PMC member? What do you think you'll be able to do that you can't do now?
