Ah, thank you very much. I have never had to use those. I went straight from Struts 1.1 to other frameworks, now I'm back on Struts, so I must have missed that phase or else wasn't doing configuration at the time. I suppose that means I don't need anything in the struts-el directory, then. Including jstl.jar as it would be natively part of the container. I'll have to try that out.
