I will add that there are many academics who would be eager to switch to Linux/Open Office as their working environment, except that they are utterly, often hourly, dependent on a bibliographic database program like Endnote or Biblioscape.  Heartfelt appreciation, then, for the Kent State group working on this project.  God-speed.
