I just tried building a simple project with a chart and swapping the chart.swc.
I used -static-rsls=false in the main app so that RSLS are not used , and set
linkage to "Merged in code".

The application starts and the chart is displayed!

Precautions to take:
- test "Merged in code" as framework linkage
- add -static-rsls=false in main app compiler option (and maybe in IDEA modules
as well, not sure of that)
- replace chart.swc in framework/libs/ directory.

Note: I tried with charts.swc from both 4.9.1 and 4.12 and it works in both
cases (well, it's almost the same code, actually)

I think it's worth the try...

Hi Darren,

What change in Apache Flex do you think or know will solve your performance
issue?

It might be easier to just do monkey-patching. I don't use IntelliJ so we
might need their help otherwise. To monkey patch, just create the folder
structure for whatever changed files you want and put the changed files in the
correct places, then point the source-path of the Client app to that folder
tree. You can put the files and folders right in the main source folder if you
want.
