Not true. The person maliciously unsubscribing someone, would have to
have a copy of their email,
and if that was the case, I think getting wrongly unsubscribed from this
list would be the least of their
problems. I get hundreds of mails a day and I know how to deal with
them, but many people don't,
and there is no way to unsubscribe to people complaining they can
unsubscribe, without making a
complex filter for this group.
I think some sites distributing copies of OO, subscribe people to the
list, and call it support. Making
it easier for those who don't want to receive it to stop it, would take
a little work, but I'm sure people
having trouble unsubscribing, and monitors that have to deal with them
would appreciate it.
