I've written an AppleScript for my email client (OSX Mail 3.6) that,
if activated, will respond automatically to messages that contain
"moderator for users@openoffice.org" in a Delivered-To header field by
sending a modified version of the original message to the originator
and the list. The responses would look something like this: ...
Please, don't.
If it can't come "instead" ... I really don't need it "in addition".
I actually believe there is something as "internet pollution" - and even
though the extra mail might be appreciated by a handful of people - most
of us don't use it. I'd prefer there would be a page somewhere (is there
a FAQ section for this mailing list?) where we show how to create a rule
to filter (or mark) the moderated mails.
This way, people wanting to have this clear in their mailbox, can have
it.. and the other 2400 members don't get redundant mail.
But - as was said prior - thanks for the effort.
Jurgen.
