time it pops up, either up to the top of the OOo screen (where the other
tool bars reside by default) or to the left and it should automatically
"dock" into that area.
AG, thank you for taking the time to write, even if your answer was not
quite onto what I sought. The fault for that is that my question was
built on a bad premise, caused by some sloppiness that I still can't
explain [with respect to killing the pop-up, not with respect to toolbar
functions being different from the "equivalent" functions via the menu -
something to be examined outside this thread].
