Have you tried www.defraggler.com by www.piriform.com ?  They also make the
crap cleaner, ccleaner.exe?  Diskeepeer software, www.diskeeper.com has a
great defrag engine which used to offer a 30 day free trial, can be run in
the background continuously, and has all sorts of bells and whistles at a
decent price if you like the results of the 30 day free trial?

Good luck.  The one problem I've run into some defragmentation utilities is
that CHKDSK /F command which can get stuck 'on' if the PC gets into a
starting or shutdown loop and needs to be reset -- the 'dirty' bit seems to
get stuck "on"
