Check the comments about the issues with using this Mount on Windows drivers. This is for my backup and extra storage. I have no problems with plugging it into my Windows laptop and doing a defrag, but just wanted to find a better, free, defrag software so I can see the process and the health of the drive. Diskeeper is great, but
I do not want to pay, if I can avoid it.

I know that Linux drives do not need defraging, but I need to be able to plug it into any Windows computer, without needing it to have an extra driver installed. So NTFS is
what I get to use since W2K and newer systems can use it.

Well thanks everyone for your suggestions. If there is any more, please email them to me outside the list @ [email protected]. This is used "only" for this list
or most of the time it is.
