I got this to work in Calc 2.0.  The trick is to click on the first
cell that you want to include in your formula without holding down the
ctrl key, but then hold down the ctrl key for all subsequent cells
that you want to include in your formula.  If you hold down the ctrl
key for the first click, it will anchor a range beginning with that
cell.
