i explained it multiple times, look at the logs at bottom From: Harald Reindl <[email protected]> To: TL Reindl Harald <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected]
1) Accept mail for some recipients
postfix hands different copies to the milter otherwise the won't have different Envelope-Headers
2) Reject mail for others
postfix hands different copies to the milter otherwise the won't have different Envelope-Headers
3) Without generating backscatter
why should postfix generate a backscatter?the connection to the delivering client is open, that's the purpose of a milter, postfix answers with a reject
4) Given that the messages are sent in the same SMTP session with multiple RCPTs and only one DATA.
boah postfix responds with a "postfix/cleanup[21827]: 3lCS043tlCz1l: milter-reject: END-OF-MESSAGE" to the delivering client and the server on the other side generates a bounce containing the reject message
the only question i ask myself is why i waste my time with so much ignorance and provocation on the other sideDon't call people names, please. It's a waste of bandwidth. I think I've been pretty polite and I also believe I have pretty good sysadmin/email credentials
one message is to the adrress i am using here is delivered, the other to [email protected] got rejected by the milter and even the bounce from gmail contains the correct one
