Looks like nobody posted this yet. http://tomcat.apache.org/migration-7.html#Upgrading_7.0.x Migrating from x.y.z to x.y.(z+∂) is quite easy, especially if you have a split CATALINA_HOME/CATALINA_BASE as Daniel suggested. It makes rollbacks pretty trivial as well. I've done this both on Windows and Linux and it's roughly the same. For Windows Services, you have to do a bit more work, but once you do it, you'll be glad you did (regardless of the operating environment). - -chris -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Comment: GPGTools - http://gpgtools.org Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAldgYj0ACgkQ9CaO5/Lv0PAS3gCeOPsg3m3ej0Ncod5PRvgM2kft wqYAoKAfV2DEtrp/fsowYwoYRRzT8khE =fyOJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@tomcat.apache.org
