Regarding different configurations of PCs that people might use: if someone can pay above 26k $ for X410 (or similar amount money for any other RFSoC based board available from retailers) he probably isn’t forced to reuse a random PC that he has available. He probably can pair it with a custom PC built from parts that are proven to work seamlessly, in order to get as much performance from the USRP as possible. To know what are proven configurations that worked for someone before is quite valuable as it save time and hassle.

Yes, I cannot disagree.   But performance questions come up here all the time, and it's not always possible to give a generic   answer because of the dizzying array of variables.  While this may not apply in your particular situation, we often here   get open-ended questions of the form "The USRP claims to support a rate of <X>, but my computer cannot achieve that, please
tell me why." And there is of course no closed-form answer....

In case anyone is interested I can provide more info about specs of the computer (i.e. the network card used here was Intel 10G 2P X520).

If you're willing to share that on this forum, that would maximize utility for the folks who may be heading down the
"running an X410 at maximum rates" roadway on this forum.

I personally don't have an X410, so I'm operating somewhat in the dark, and I certainly don't have a computer in   my collection that is really "up" to the task of running it at full capacity in either direction...
