I do not think revising RFC 7525 before publication of TLS 1.3 is a
good idea.

And even if TLS 1.3 has quite a bit of momentum already, it will take
some time for it to become widespread after the specification is
published. Reminds me of HTTP/2. That too had quite bit of momentum
and had quite a bit of deploymet quite quickly, but still has
not even close to displaced HTTP/1.1.
