You may be able to extend its charge by repeatedly fully draining and
charging the battery. This tends to clear any chemical blockages in the
cells that may be limiting the amount of energy the battery can hold.
You need to do it continually for about 36 hours to have the maximum
effect. As far as I know, this technique works with Li-Ion, NiMh and
NiCad batteries. Depending on how bad the blockage is, you may need to
use special equipment to do it right :-(
