On Fri, 7 Feb 2003, Michael Halcrow suggested we build a large wooden badger:

I think by special equipment, Mike may be referring to the old "9-volt
battery tester method".  To utilize this method, stick out your tongue.  
If the battery shocks you, it's still good :)
