I am currently having major troubles getting wireless (pcmcia actually) to work with linux on my hp ze1210 laptop. The problem appears to be the PCMCIA-PCI bridge, which is an O2 Micro OZ6912. Stay away from that PCMCIA-PCI bridge, it has problems with the current pcmcia-cs modules. Other than the O2Micro bridge, I have had a really good experience with my HP laptop. Just make sure that you do *NOT* any laptop with an O2Micro OZ6912 PMCIA to PCI bridge. It is listed as a known problem on the pcmcia-cs.sf.net webpage. BTW, if anybody out there has 1) a working O2Micro OZ6912 pcmcia-pci bridge i would love to know, 2) someother pcmcia cards that i could try out to diagnose if the problem is pcmcia-cs related or something else. I would really appreciate information about either of those. -- Michael GnuPG Fingerprint: 4C56 7C23 8BD9 8B39 C4D4 B8F3 42FB 3634 31B5 E963
