You can send me your log when you've got it -- I'm using the NVidia drivers on the same card, so I can compare the output. I've seen this phenomenon when I've been playing certain games using 3D acceleration for a while and the card just overheats and locks the whole system. At first I thought it was a Windows issue, but then when America's Army under Linux did it, I put a thermocouple in my system, discovered the problem, and added some cooling. However, I've never had X or any other 2D app cause a lockup. -- Soren Harward [EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
