You can send me your log when you've got it -- I'm using the NVidia
drivers on the same card, so I can compare the output.

I've seen this phenomenon when I've been playing certain games using 3D
acceleration for a while and the card just overheats and locks the whole
system.  At first I thought it was a Windows issue, but then when
America's Army under Linux did it, I put a thermocouple in my system,
discovered the problem, and added some cooling.  However, I've never had
X or any other 2D app cause a lockup.
