I'm grew up on the metric system and it's great, except for the fact
that our paper (building supplies, etc) is cut to imperial measurements
over here.  OO defaults to A4 paper too, which is just not available
generally over here.  So we can convert to metric if we want, but that
won't make much sense until metric paper sizes are available.  (Not sure
what I'd prefer, a metric-ized letter paper size or a4-size)

On a side note, all US government contracts are officially done in
metric, but since all engineering and architecture is still imperial
here, you end up with 5.08x10.16's (2x4s).
