Has anyone ever given their wife or grandma a *Windows* CD and wished them luck? Probably not, because Windows comes preinstalled on most machines that are sold out there. I doubt very many people would be able to install and configure Windows, even with all the wizards and such. I've had other developers ask me to help them install and configure Windows. It's not as simple as some would imagine.
