Incidentally, I /have/ given people a computer with Linux pre-installed,
pre-configured, and told them, basically, "Good luck!" I can't say they've
had any more difficulties than they would on a generic Windows machine.

It has, however, been a learning experience as far as where Linux lacks as
far as the desktop market goes. Does anybody else have similar experiences
handing somebody a Linux box and waiting until they come crying for help?
