I hope this talk of crashing the Microsoft talk is in jest.  Bashing doesn't
change people's minds; it just strengthens their opposition, giving them
something to hate.  Free Software is a large enough movement to be taken
seriously and respected, and we'd be doing it a great disservice by being
impolite to an invited speaker here to talk about a software development
methodology.

Samba's interesting because it helps everyone, both people who understand the
value of Free software and those who don't (and even those who don't think
it's so great).  It really gives the message that Free software is Free for
everyone, not just people who agree with us.  If we're sufficiently polite, I
bet they'll even be willing to announce that our talk is scheduled right after
their own.
