My response was somewhat tongue in cheek.  I would have to agree
that any bashing would be very counterproductive.  As far as
advertising to the MS meeting about the Samba meeting, I think
a tasteful flier or poster that makes no mention of MS (except
perhaps to indicate something about cross-platform compatibility),
would be the most appropriate way to attract attention.
