What a coincidence! This is the exact system I setup for my relatives. Basically I have a colinux instance with dansguardian and squid, and then I have firewall rules on the wireless access point that force all web traffic from anywhere on the LAN through the colinux box. Works awesome, except that the machine hosting colinux has to always be running or the computers in the LAN have no web access. Having everything self contained in one appliance would be even better though. Alas even with 32 MB of RAM and 8 MB flash, my WRT54GSv1 cannot handle it at all. Michael > > Jared > > P.S.
