You have at least two options, and depending on your house possibly three. Arguably the best (certainly the best in terms of speed/price) will be Broaweave / iProvo. Whatever you may think of the politics around iProvo, their internet service is the fastest in the area, and it's pretty inexpensive. Also likely available is Comcast. I don't have anything nice to say about Comcast, so I'll just mention that they're probably in your neighborhood and stop at that. Finally, you *may* be able to get Qwest DSL, which opens up the possibility of using any of several ISPs. (I gave up on DSL after seven years of checking and finding out that it still wasn't available at my address, but your mileage may vary.) If you can get DSL, and are OK with the fact that it's likely to cost more than iProvo for less bandwidth, I'd recommend XMission as the ISP. -------------------- BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ The opinions expressed in this message are the responsibility of their author.
