I love my speeds on Broadweave. Ditto for reliability. It was mStar that
signed and connected me, so I have no experience with new Broadweave service.
My only gripe with Broadweave since the changeover is that the direct-pay
billing from mStar didn't transfer to Broadweave the way it should have.
Took a few days/hours to straighten out and get Broadweave to credit the
payments already made to mStar.

I agree that Broadweave has improved mStar's reliability. Greatly improved it
in my neighbourhood.

My last experience with Comcast was before they started throttling most P2P.
Their reliability was about equal to mStars, but far less than Broadweave.
Their speeds couldn't possibly compare, even with the most expensive premium
package.

Their bundled package (cable, phone, ISP) is available through Broadweave as
well.

My Comcast customer service experiences were average; not great, not bad.

I've had rotten service from Qwest in my phone service (not anytime recent,
thankfully,) and friends/employers using their data services seem to have the
same crappy service + extremely slow speeds. I'd sooner trust their
techs/reps with a colonoscopy than with my internet, phone or any other
service. Not a good choice for reliability or value.

If you're chasing DSL, check for McLeod USA. There may be others to provide
the DSL part. I heartily recommend Xmission as the ISP half of the package.
