Complete and utter BS.  The functionality of the trackpad has absolutely
nothing to do with Apple's OS, other than the interpretation of the
gestures.  As far as clicking, scrolling, swiping, it's a function of
the trackpad, which isn't even made by Apple.  It works just fine on
Linux or Windows, depending on how well the gesture code is working.  So
it's certainly reasonable to assume the trackpad not only works well on
other operating systems, but also other laptop makers can and will
implement a similar style of trackpad.  Nothing at all to do with Apple.

Personally I think the iPhone signatures look stupid and unprofessional
(in any language).  But whatever floats your boat.
