If not then look at downloading the .deb file and just saving it somewhere. Navigate to that file in a terminal and run sudo dpkg --install /path/to/package_name.deb That should work. If you are running Ubuntu I would look at using the repository as desribed
in http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads under "Debian-based
Linux distributions" This would be the best way of managing things.
