I have a 4GB in my 630, running 8.1 It is partitioned, at least because it can't boot from HFSextended.
I recently reformatted a 4GB drive from HFSstandard, to extended and 1.8GB of stuff became 800MB... Anyway, 730MB is pretty small really. Well its good size for an os partition I guess. Only thing is if you want to back up to 1 cd don't put more than 650MB on it... Just my opinion but if you can get 8.1 it is so much nicer than system7...
