In a pinch you can use the similar sized camera battery in an LC. I've
done it. They
cost less than half the $20 RS charges maybe 1/4.
They are a bit bigger and a bit lower volt, but they work, leaving off
the top of
the battery holder, and pressing hard to fit it in. It won't damage
the holder, I've
put the real battery in later.
Its always at the worst time the battery fails so its good to have a
spare. Works on
G4 towers too and most things between (that is the real battery, the
sub doesn't
work on all models but most (requires some swapping around sometimes).
