I would highly suggest an external SCSI drive... This has worked well  
for me with my Plus. You can run 6.0.8 and not worry about switching  
floppies and how big it is, if it'll fit, etc. A lot of hard drives  
from that era were made for the Plus to sit on top of, with the same  
footprint.
