You'll find it a problem getting the disks into manual inject drives when
mounted in place of auto inject drives. (Assuming the slot lines up.)
The cases of Macs that used manual inject drives had a recessed area in the
middle of the slot to allow a finger to push the disk in far enough for the
spring mechanism to snap it in the rest of the way.
