Cool.  I will most definitely clean her up first as I am also going to 
retr0brite the yellowed plastic.  Hopefully a little silicone and dusting will 
preclude the necessity to bend shit!  thanks for the suggestion.

If (and only if!) the cleaning solutions don't work, you will find
that there is indeed a tab that can be bent slightly with a pair of
needle-nose pliers to adjust.

But cleaning is a much, much better idea.
