i used compressed air then sprayed a bit of WD40 into the moving parts and used some silicone after it dried up it appears to be moving in a way i didn't think it could. i guess the dust just clogged it up over time. haven't put her back together yet, because im doing a retrobrite treatment to my set up. looking good so far.
