I have not really tried the recognizer app, but, I have always had success with the money app ever since the app was released just after I got my iPhone 4. I always get accurate readings on bills. It is the only thing using the camera I can seem to get to work unless you count the pictures I have taken of the clip of my Otterbox or my fingers, LOL.
