Thanks. This is very confusing to me to read, though. Here is a small example
that perhaps you can explain. It shows:

When using the Freedom Scientific Focus 40 Blue (Classic model)
braille display with VoiceOver in iOS, you can use these device-specific

keys to navigate.

			 Braille device keys

			 VoiceOver action

			 Router Row 1

			 Double-tap the selected item

What are all of these tab tab tab whatever in the text?

Here's a page with specific commands, which also has a link to the more
general Braille commands. Also, Charles, in answer to your question: no,
unfortunately.

I use mine all the time for reading books and writing. Just be aware
that the whiz wheels don't have the functionality you might expect. The left
one moves by increment in the rotor, and the right one does the equivalent of a
Voiceover right swipe with one finger. The reverse commands naturally do the
reverse.

        Hi Don,

The focus 40 Classic works great with the ipHone. All the iOS commands
are supported, and the Bluetooth conenction is very stable. Go for it.

I have the original Focus 40 blue, the one with the whiz wheels and
want to learn to use it with my 4S. I am writing in the hope that someone will
post a capsule synopsis of the pros and cons of using the Focus 40 with an IOS
device. I seem to recall reading that other braille displays support more of
the IOS command set than the Focus, I hope to learn its strengths and its
weaknesses. I did find a podcast from Freedom Scientific, but I didn't find it
particularly comprehensive.

          Thanks in advance for feedback.
