Are those cables you're referencing longer lightning cables? Sounds like they must be based on your Amazon Basics description. If so, have you used them with an iPhone 6 since this problem only began with my new iPhone 6? Thanks. I believe the Monoprice cables are around $12 and the Amazon maybe $15, can't remember. At least one other confirmed this message and got a 2-meter lightning cable from the Apple Store in order to avoid it. I can now confirm that I only get this unsupported accessory message after my iPhone is fully charged. I believe others have also reported this same result. So, I decided to save the $30 on the 2-meter lightning cable and continue to use my USB extension cables to provide more length since the phone does charge with this arrangement.
