Yes, but what do you do when you open an app or activate a button or link on your iPhone? That is why I wrote you should try whatever braille command you use to simulate a double tap. Sorry, I don't own a braille display or I would tell you, but I'm sure there is an equivalent command for a double tap which is one of the most basic gestures on the iPhone or, for that matter, on most touch screen devices. Maybe somebody who has a braille display could turn speech off and see if they can get to where they can delete an app only with the braille display and then explain it better.

That is how I understand. If you can get to "Activate" on your braille display you should just have to do whatever the braille keyboard command is for a double tap and it should ask then if you want to delete the app. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Todd Patkus Sent: Friday, November 18, 2016 7:21 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Braille commands for deleting app Dani, When I tried it, pressing dot 6, it said arranging apps then activate. Then I guess I'm glad I didn't update to IOS10. I'm using IOS9 and can delete apps fine. My speaker didn't recover very much from its lemon bar making experience--my volume is terribly decreased, so I'm having to struggle to hear when I don't have a h eadset plugged in. I can get access to the VO output using Braille. And ... I would've thought if it was such a problem, Jonathan Mosen would've brought it up in his book on IOS10, (something I don't have, because I don't have the OS.)
