Hi Mary,

AT&T had no clue about the watches when I called last week to ask about their 
plan, so I ordered from Apple. I wasn't asked to pick a carrier during the 
ordering process, so I guess whatever linking of my watch to my mobile account 
and phone will need to be done once the watch gets here. So I don't see any 
advantage in ordering from the carrier.
